My name is Luca Soh, and I am an illustrator currently based in Belgium. Though I primarily do art by trade, I also dabble in writing.
For the longest time, I have derived a great thrill from being frightened or disgusted, finding myself drawn in by horror at a young age and being fascinated by matters such as the paranormal, the dead and the worse parts the human mind has to offer. Horror media has provided me with a fun and harmless way to entertain such fascinations, initially as a child being allowed to watch no more than paranormal films before finally gaining access to slasher films and nicher horror media as a teenager. My interests of course span more widely than that. If I were to give a general description of my tastes, it would be that I gravitate to grit, grunge, grime, the gothic and the grotesque.
I derive a lot of inspiration from artists like Akiya Kageichi, Takato Yamamoto, Yoshitaka Amano and Gustav Klimt.
